При постановке диагноза ожирения, выбора методов его коррекции, принципиально важным является применение достоверных методов оценки количества жировой ткани. Использование индекса массы тела не всегда бывает достаточным, так как не дает полной информации по количественному содержанию жировой массы тела пациента. Для этих целей в клинической медицине используется биоимпедансный анализ, позволяющий произвести оценку показателей, которые характеризуют основной обмен, активную клеточную массу, жировую и безжировую массы, а также общее содержание воды в организме. Однако проведение биоимпедансного анализа состава тела в настоящее время ограничено преимущественно областью диетологии и спортивной медицины, а также взрослой когортой пациентов. Достаточно интересным представляется использование биоимпедансного метода в детской возрастной группе для достоверной оценки состава тела детей различного возраста и массы тела, что позволит осуществлять динамический контроль всех видов обмена веществ для оценки эффективности наблюдения и лечения пациентов с избыточной массой тела и ожирением.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The steady rise of obesity in children and adolescents emphasizes the need for new, integrated approaches to its diagnosis and therapy. When diagnosing obesity and choosing methods for its correction, it is fundamentally important to use reliable methods of estimating the amount of adipose tissue. Using the body mass index is not always sufficient, since it does not provide complete information on quantitative content in the body weight of the patient’s body. For these purposes in clinical medicine use of bioimpedance analysis to assess the indicators, which characterize the basal metabolism, active cell mass, fat and basirova mass and total water content in the body. However, the holding of bioimpedance body composition analysis is currently limited mainly to dietetics and sports medicine, and adult patients. Quite interesting is the use of the bioimpedance method in the pediatric age group for accurate evaluation of body composition of children of various ages and body weight that will allow for dynamic control of all types of metabolism to evaluate the effectiveness of the observation and treatment of patients with overweight and obesity.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>биоимпедансный анализ</kwd><kwd>состав тела</kwd><kwd>ожирение</kwd><kwd>дети</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>bioimpedance analysis</kwd><kwd>body composition</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>children</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">ВОЗ.
