В течение 3 лет методом госпитального регистра инсульта изучено 1 168 случаев острого инсульта. Компьютерная томография проведена в 93,9%, аутопсия — в 2,4% случаев. Во всех возрастных группах преобладали ишемические инсульты. Летальность составила 25,5%, 24% больных нуждаются в посторонней помощи.

1168 cases of acute stroke were investigated with the method of Hospital Stroke Register. Computer-based tomography was performed in 93,9% cases, autopsy — in 2,4% cases. Ischemic stroke prevailed in all the age groups. Mortality rate was 25,5%, 24% stroke patients are needed in help.
