Body of suffering: philosophic-anthropological interpretation

Abstract
The author’s concept of anthropology of suffering and embodiment of biopower is discussed in the context of bioethical prob- lems. Basic prerequisites for division of human totality into soul (selfhood) and body are described with reference to philosophic- anthropological categories of suffering, salvation, and death.
