Abstract

The function of endothelium of microcirculation vessels, vegetative and psychoemotional status, lipid spectrum and physical efficiency in 43 young sportsmen are corrected with the aid of Tentorium api-phyto products (APP).

The following tests were conducted: samples of reactive hyperemia and hyperventilation, ultrasound investigation of brachial artery, determination of performance efficiency, total cholesterin, triglycerides, cortisol, red cells, vegetative and psychoemotional status by the Spielberger’s test and SAN test, as well as biomicroscopy of sclera. To relief the psychophysical stress, improve the endothelium function and performance efficiency, the sportsmen received APP as a food additive.

After the reception of APP, the lipid and cortisol levels decreased markedly, and the level of red cells increased. The aerobic capacity increased. The recovery time after exercise shortened. The vegetative stress level decreased significantly, and the psychoemotional status improved. The endothelium dysfunction removed.

It is shown that APP is a new method of prophylaxis of sudden death in sport, in people with blood circulation pathology, creative professionals, and businessmen.

Abstract

Leucomisine model of acute hyperlipidemia in rats induced by administration of ethanol reduces the levels of free fatty acids and triacylglycerols in serum and the content of triacylglycerols in the liver of experimental animals. Introduction sesquiterpenoid leucomisine increases the activity of enzymes antiperoxidant protecti- on – glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase and the level of total and reduced glutathione, which prevents the activation of lipid peroxidation in the liver caused by ethanol. Lipid-lowering effect induced by the hyperlipidemia leucomisine when, like nicotinic acid, may be due to an inhibitory effect on lipolysis in adipose tissue. Along with this leucomisine has an antioxidant effect due to the activation of enzymes antiperoxidant protect and increase the redox potential of glutathione in the liver of rats.

Abstract
The study has demonstrated that proapoptic concentrations of donors of NO (100 mmol SNP and 100 µmol NOC-5), H2S  (10 mmol NaHS), and CO (50 µmol CORM-2) gases caused an increase in the intracellular level of active forms of oxygen in Jurkat cells. As this took place, the activation of redox-dependent transcription factor р53 was observed as Jurkat cells were exposed to 100 mmol SNP and 10 mmol NaHS. In the case of 100 µmol NOC-5 and 50 µmol CORM-2, an increase of р53 was not observed, but the expression of target gens of this transcription factor р21 (under the effect of NO and СО) and bax (under the effect of NO) increased. The antiproliferative concentration of hydrogen sulfide donor (50 µmol ) did not cause an increase in the intracellular production of active forms of oxygen and the activation of redox-dependent signal mechanisms.

Abstract

The wide application of cardiac surgery using the aorto-pulmonary bypass technique needs the development of new drugs, capable to minimize the heart damaging during ischemia and reperfusion. But the direct delivery of drugs into the damaged tissues and cells is a big problem. The liposomes as unique transport system can be used to solve this problem.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of "empty" liposomes of various diameter and the liposomes of different composition on the myocardium contractile function which has underwent the ischemia and the subsequent reperfusion. The obtained results allowed us to make the conclusion that liposomes of 50 nanometers in diameter are most effective to cardiac protection versus liposomes of 100 nanometers.

Inclusion the emoxipine into the composition of liposomes provide the best results on contractile function of an ischemic myocardium.

Abstract
Local and system influence the Repleri gel implants on the base of hyaluronic acid used to correct age-related changes in skin has been studied. Human stromal stem cells with CD44 membrane receptor to hyaluronic acid migrates in vitro into gel structure and maturates morphologically in fibroblast-like forms stained positively with acid phosphatase. Repleri gels implantation in the group of women with local and system age-related changes in homeostasis has positive local effect connected with full deletion of nasolabial fold in facial skin. Repleri gels injection has been decreasing during
1 year the system indices of real biological age as compared with chronological (passport) one. Lipoproteins and aspartate aminotransferase concentrations diminished statistically in women blood. An effect revealed may be considered as potential way of anti-age therapy of not only skin but parenchymal organs. At the same time, a long-term control of homeostasis distant indices in women with serious changes in parenchymal organs is necessary after local Repleri gels injection because of organism’s hormonal reactions.

Abstract
The resistance of red cells to the mechanic, osmotic, and acid factors, as well as the permeability of red-cell membrane to low-molecular hydrophilic substances in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) with moderate (24 patients) and pronounced (13 patients) hemolysis after surgery under conditions of cardia bypass has been studied. It is found that the development of pronounced hemolysis (in contrast to the moderate one) is associated with the high permeability of the red-cell membrane before surgery at the reduced acid and mechanic resistance of cells, which decreases after surgery and combines with normalization of acid resistance of red cells with the red-cell membrane permeability kept at the initially high level. The osmotic resistance of red cells in IHD patients is increased regardless of the level of hemolysis and the stage of the study, and its minimal level is observed only in patients with moderate hemolysis before surgery.

Abstract
The composition of lipid phase of red-cell membrane in patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD) with pronounced postperfusion hemolysis (18 patients) before coronary artery bypass surgery and 1 hour after the completion of cardia bypass (CB) has been studied. It is shown that patients with IHD with pronounced hemolysis are characterized by the normal ratio of phospholipids (PL) fractions in red-cell membrane before surgery, which is connected with eth high content of young forms of red cells in blood at this stage. After surgery, the fraction of lysophosphatidylcholine and phosphatidic acid in red-cell membrane increases against the background of decrease of phosphatidylinositol  and phosphatidylcholine, which likely reflects the simultaneous activation of phospholipases of three classes (A, C, and D) in red cells during CB. Regardless of the phase of the study, the total content of PL in red-cell membrane of IHD patients with pronounced hemolysis is decrease at the high level of cholesterol (CS) and the CS/Pl ratio.

Abstract
In experimental liver pathology caused by isoniazide or paracetamol administration to albino rats lipids derived from maral antlers and peat decreased the blood activity of aminotransferases, γ-glutamyltranspeptidase, acid and alkaline phosphatases, phospholipase А, content of common bilirubin, activated the detoxication of biliribin, ammonium and phenols, inhibited the liver formation of dienic conjugates, Schiff’s bases, malonic dialdehyde, improve the reduced glutathione function. Maral anthlers and peat lipids in effective doses 30 and 60 mg/kg had the more pronounced hepatoprotective and antioxidant action than lipids in dose 10 mg/kg and essentiale forte N.

Abstract

The aim is to report a rare observation of pseudotumors of small bowel leading to chronic invagination and recidivating small bowel obstruction.

The case is interesting because the information about pseudotumors of small bowel is unavailable in the literature, whereas in large bowel they are quite frequently observed, and their number is a tendency to increase. A complication of pseudoturmors is a chronic invagination  of small bowel, which is also rarely observed (in 9.05–9.58%). Its clinical picture is subtle, causing difficulties in diagnosis. In the reported observation, the diagnosis “chronic invagination” was also made only at surgery, while the diagnosis “pseudoturmor” was made after histologic examination of the specimen.

For well-timed diagnosis, in the presence of clinical findings of recidivating small bowel obstruction, chronic invagination should be considered as one of the possible causes of obstruction.

Abstract

The aim of the work is to find an optimal combination of treatment-and-health-improving activities for the preventive treatment. There are four groups of children with the different levels of the risk: very high, high, medium and low. The most important factors of the morbidity are the following: a contact with a bacteria-excreting person and with MDR, social disadvantage, hyperergic reactions. An essential condition of an effective prevention is a realization of the treatment-and-health-improving activities for the strengthening of the resistance of the body for the tuberculosis infection. The chemoprophylaxis had been realizing for 3 or 6 months according to the following developed modes: “0A”, “0Б”, “0B”. Children from the family contact with MDR got isoniazid 15 mg/kg weight and ethambutol or pyrazinamide.

Abstract

We have investigated dendritic cells (DC), obtained by transformation from peripheral blood monocytes. We show the possible mechanisms of infringement of dendritic cells (DC) functional activity in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). Found that in patients with TB the number of DC, expressing TLR2, costimulation molecules CD86, is reduced, secretion of cytokine IL-12 changes. It is possible the mecha-nisms of deactivation DC mediated from effects of M. tuberculosis

Abstract
The work analyzed subpopulation structure of peripheral blood T-regulatory cells (T-reg) and production of cytokines with immunosuppressor activity (IL-10, TGF-b) in vitro in patients with disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis, depending on the sensitivity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to anti-tuberculosis drugs. It has been shown that Trn – natural T-regulatory lymphocytes (CD4+CD25+Foxр3+) and TGF-b cytokine, formed by them, play the leading role in the formation of immunosuppression under disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis. Besides, subpopulation imbalance of Treg-cells in patients with disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis, in case at multi-drug-resistance and drug-susceptible, is shown by the increased content of T-reg-cells with CD4+CD25+Foxр3+phenotypein combination with the deficiency of CD4+CD25+Foxр3– T-reg lymphocytes in blood. The increase in the amount of CD4+CD25+Foxр3+ T-reg-cells in blood of patients with disseminated multi-drug resistance pulmonary tuberculosis is associated with the increase in basal and BCG-induced production of TGF-bin vitro.
