Abstract

The aim of investigation is to reveal mechanisms being used by biological systems with the participation of nitric oxide NO in physiological processes and pathophysiological responses.

The relative role of electro- and pharmacomechanical coupling of unstriped muscle cells (UMC) in mechanisms of nitric oxide action has been determined. It has been shown that activation of calcium ion input by biologically active substances had intensified NO relaxing effect. This activation has been mediated by potential-dependent and potential-insensitive intracellular mechanisms of calcium ion redistribution, the relative contribution of which had determined the direction of change in electrogenesis and contractions in the given particular type of unstriped muscle.

It has been found that the potential-dependent nitric oxide impacts were connected with the suppression of calcium and/or natrium component of potassium UMC conductivity. As well as they were connected with the modulation of calcium-dependent and ATP-sensitive component of potassium UMC conductivity.

Potential-independent NO control of unstriped muscle mechanic tension has been mediated, in many respects, by the modulation of UMC calcium signal system C-kinase branch, by the ratio of cyclic nucleotides concentrations (cGMP/cAMP) and by the directional mode of Na+-K+-2Cl-co-transport. Myogenic effects of nitric oxide are determined by basal operation of protein kinase C in unstriped muscle cells.

Abstract

For identification of lupous anticoagulant (LA) effects tests with phospholipin-dependent coagulase of snake venoms are used. Abroad they use the diluted Russell viper venom for this purpose.

Investigations carried out by the authors on 31 patients (10 men and 21 women) aged 25-51 with antiphospholipin syndrome registered by clinical and laboratory criterions, have shown that the coagulation test with diluted Central Asian gyurza (Vipera lebetina turanica) venom could be used for the same purpose, its coagulase by the action mechanism is close to the coagulase of Russell viper venom (Vipers Russelli).

Abstract

42 patients with verified diagnosis «temporal lobe epilepsy* have been examined with the aim of investigation of 24-hours sleep deprivation (SD) impact on bioelectrical brain activity at patients with partial epilepsy by electroencephalography method.

It has been found that bioelectrical brain activity at patients with temporal lobe epilepsy was characterized by the prevalence of slow activity of greater range as compared to the indices of healthy people, and by significant range skewness. Under the im¬pact of testing with 24-hours SD at epilepsy patients it has been registered the decrease of slow rate range while at healthy people it has been registered the increase of the range and of the indices ofot-rate as well as of slow waves.

Using of testing with 24-hours SD increases the efficiency of hidden form paroxysmal activity diagnostics by 2 times.

Abstract

Efficiency of lokhein, maksar and karsil hepatoprotectors in the treatment of cyclophosphan damaged liver has been investigated. Hepatoprotectors decrease the overall cytostatic toxicity, reduce the hepatocyte necrosis and the cell infiltration of liver parenchyma, cause the hyperaminotransferase and hyperbilirubin regression, stimulate the bilirubin conjugation and normalize the protein content in blood. Lokhein prevents most efficiently the development of morphologic disturbances in liver and recovers most of biochemical abnormalities at cyclophosphan intoxication.

Abstract

An attempt to check experimentally the possibility of structure functional units existence in mesenchymal cells, similar to hemopoetic and erythroblastic islets, has been made. Experiments on long (in vitro) cultivation of adhesive rat marrow elements have been made.

It has been found that from the 6 day of observation there were specific cell formations with islet-like structure in the culture. An epitelioid cell surrounded by round elements was situated in the center. Up to 12-14 days the number of mesenchymal islets reached its maximum (up to 46,0 ⋅ 106 cells), after that it decreased gradually and up to 24 days it almost disappeared. The islets were a part of mesenchymal colonies.

The authors suppose that these formations are structure functional units of mesenchymopoiesis where proliferation and differentiation processes of mesenchymal stem cells and their closest scions proceed.

Abstract

In the review the existent methodic approaches to the verification of ACD (apoptotic cell death) based on the dying cell morphology study (routine light and electron microscopy, luminescent microscopic examination, DNA fragmentation reveal in situ and so on) have been observed, the main structural differences between necrosis and apoptosis in connection with the pathophysiology of these processes and the significance of specific morphological changes in differential diagnostics of cell death type have been discussed. It has been demonstrated the relativity of the existing ACD criterions, many of them were classic characteristics of the cell states, the former necrobiosis and coagulation necrosis. The causes of some misunderstandings, connected with this circumstance, in literature devoted to the ACD morphology, have been analyzed.

Abstract

In the paper the starting positions of educational process at the faculty of clinical psychology and psychotherapy in Siberian State Medical University have been stated. The modern ideas of environment factors influence on gene expression are advanced as a natural scientific basis of educational way. And, correspondingly, the ideas of social environment influence on the character of neuromediator impact on an organism. The educational idea has been built on the balanced ratio of the humanities and neuro-sciences. The central place in the first-years education will be taken by academic psychology accented on the experimental methods, and in the senior years education — study of empirical and germenevtic psychology in their interaugmentability and enrichment. The contemporary image of the faculty and its ways of development have been presented.

Abstract

The aim of investigation was the study of vegetative homeostasis peculiarities at children of early age with perinatal central nervous system damage (PCNSD) during recovery. Method of computer cardiointervalometry has been used for the evaluation of vegetative homeostasis. Initial vegetative tone, vegetative reactivity, vegetative providing of activity and recovery time have been evaluated. 210 children (74 premature newborns with different stage of gestation and 136 full-term newborns) have been under supervision. The results of supervision show that with the increase of the PCNSD severity degree there is the increase of (i) the initial hypersympathicotonic vegetative tone, (ii) the insufficient vegetative providing of activity due to asthenic and astenosympathetic response for orthostatic load and (iii) the response of recovery time fatigue. These vegetative damages reflect the level of vegetative regulation of cardiac rate. The proposed method permits to reveal without bias the degree of vegetative nervous system damage and may be used for evaluation of the PCNSD severity degree and efficiency of applied therapy.
