Abstract

The inflammatory-reparative reactions of sclera after different injury were studied. In animals of the 1st group carried out conjunctivotomy and surgical diathermy. In animals of the 2nd group carried out conjunctivotomy. Biomicroscopy, histologic and morphometrical studies were carried out. The results demonstrate surgical diathermy of sclera leads to intensification of local inflammatory reaction and is a risk factor of excessive regeneration in glaucoma filtration surgery.

Abstract

Signs of organic lesion of brain have been studied in 85 patients in the acute period of tick-borne borreliosis. The analysis of results of clinical and clinical-psychopathological studies has revealed signs of brain organic lesion (BOL) in 100% cases. In the studied group, the moderate degree of BOL signs is most often (54%), mild cases are somewhat rarer (41%), and the pronounced degree is confidently rarer (5%). The degree of manifestation of signs of brain organic lesion depends on the age and the somatic-neurological burdened background of patients and influences the course of the acute and remote periods of ixodic tick-borne borreliosis.

Abstract

The effects of pulse-repetitive X-ray radiation and microwaves on the suspension of human erythrocyte was investigated in present work taking in to account changing their electrical capacitance. It was shown that the single 5-min exposure of suspension of erythrocyte to pulse periodic x-rays and microwaves causes the changes of the capacitance. The of the effect depends on the radiation type, the pulse repetition frequency, the radiation absorbed dose (in case of x-rays) and power flow density (in the case of microwaves).

Abstract

The coronary behavior of type A is one of the risk factors for development of cardiovascular diseases, but its peculiarities in adolescent people is poorly studied. It is shown that representatives of type A have the higher level of stress-reactivity, higher excitability, lability of nervous processes, addiction to abstract thinking, that is, behavior of type A is characterized by particular psychophysiological reactivity. In people of coronary type A, the external behavioral strategy is likely connected with activation of psychic processes to the higher extent. In people of type B, stresses probably do not play a destructive role, but are a kind of stimulus improving neurodynamic indices.

Abstract

During examining the heart rate variability a method of the spectral analysis was used. It was discovered that the spectral analysis indexes (ТР, HF, LF, VLF) of the highly qualified sportsmen depend on the training process direction. It was also revealed that VLF-spectral component is considered to be a condition of metabolic processes running in the sportsmen’s organisms and is linked with the formation and using the energy during physical tensions activity in an anaerobic conditions.

Abstract

The diagnostic significance of bronchophonography (BPG) for early detection of bronchial asthma (BA) in children from 2 to 5 years old is estimated. BPG was used to examine 210 children, including 110 children with often acute respiratory infections (ARIs), 35 children with the mild case of BA in the remission period, and 65 practically healthy children. In patients with BA compared to the group of practically healthy children, the indices of acoustic work of respiration in the high-frequency range (the so-called zone of obstructive changes) were increased, and this increase was reversible after pharmacological test with a bronchial spasmolytic. Similar changes of BPG were observed in 20% of patients with often ARIs, and two years later these children had typical clinical signs of BA. Indices of diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of BPG were equal to respectively 95.2 and 95.0%. Taking into account the relative simplicity and noninvasive character of BPG, this allows us to recommend the wide use of this method as a screening one for early diagnostics of BA in children of early and preschool age under hospital conditions.

Abstract
Changes of cytocines maintenance in blood at the genitals human papilloma caused by viruses 6/11 types before treatment with interferon inducers, are revealed. Iodantipyrine raised a level in blood of α-, β-, γ-interferon, interleykin-2 more strongly and more for a long time, normalized the interleykin-10 level; cycloferon and amixine raised α- and γ-interferon, the tumor necrosis factor-α level. Dynamics of cytocines maintenance under influence of therapy depends on an initial condition of cytocin systems. It was minimal at plural relapses and more positive — at the first infection episode. Positive influence of interferon inducers on the cytocines status is a pathogenetic substantiation of application of these preparations in treatment programs of the genital infection, caused by human papilloma virus of 6/11 types.

Abstract

In this work, we have analyzed 2 774 case records of children after traumatic brain injury for the period of 2003 to 2007 (based on materials of the Tomsk Municipal Children’s Hospital No. 4). The age structure and causes of a traumatic brain injury have been analyzed. Most often complaints of children coming to the hospital are revealed, as well as typical changes in the cerebral hemodynamics (from the data of по данным rheoencephalography) and some parameters characterizing the neurological status of patients immediately after the injury and six months later. Based on the analysis of case records and health status questionnaires of children having traumatic brain injury up to six months later, it is shown that parents of patients in some cases do not adhere doctor’s recommendations after leaving the hospital. The therapy of traumatic brain injury in children requires successive treatment in hospital and at home and development of simple and acceptable rehabilitation schemes for children.

Abstract

Evaluation of efficiency of controller medication (combination of fluticasone propionate and Salmeterol) in 40 patients (age from 18 to 65 years) with moderate (n = 15) and severe (phenotype brittle n = 10, asthma with fixed obstruction n = 15) uncontrolled asthma was evaluated in open prospective trial. It was observed, that all patients with moderate asthma achieved control criteria (GINA, 2006) to 12th week of treatment with combination of fluticasone propionate and Salmeterol. Improvement of clinical-functional indexes was observed in patients with severe asthma to 24th week of therapy. 5 patients with brittle asthma achieved controlled and partly controlled asthma to 24th week therapy. Controlled asthma was not reach through the patients with fixed obstruction asthma, whereas increase of clinical-functional parameters was observed, usage of inhaled combined therapy allowed us to reduce oral steroids dose in 4 patients of this group.

Abstract

Efficiency of the surgical treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis for multidrug-resistant (MDR TB) tuberculosis patients was analyzed. Seventy DOTS-PLUS patients with various clinical forms of pulmonary tuberculosis and Mycobacterium resistance from 3 to 8 antituberculosis drugs have been operated. Positive clinical results have been achieved for 65 (92,8%) patients. Indications for surgical treatment for patients with MDR TB have been developed. To ensure positive outcomes of the surgical interventions, main objective is the development of so-called a favorable preoperative environment during the preoperative phase. It includes switching on intensive chemotherapy and pathogenetic methods of treatment.

Abstract
A method of singular stimulation based on principles of contrast, small-amplitude progressive rotation, continuous multidirectional stimulation, and supercompensation is proposed for treatment of obesity. The clinical, social, and economic efficiency of the methods of singular stimulation and aesthetic surgery in treatment of obesity has been estimated comparatively. It is shown that the efficiency of using the singular stimulation in shape modeling is higher compared to the aesthetic surgery. The social efficiency of the proposed method in treatment of obesity was 97.4%, while that of the aesthetic surgery is 33.0%. The economic expenses of patients for treatment of obesity by the method of aesthetic surgery are 5.4 times higher than those for treatment of the same pathology by the method of singular stimulation.

Is determined that the population’s attitude to accessibility, quality of charge-free and paid medical services is depended on a financial status, state of health, availability of diseases and age. The paid medical service development will reduce the use of medical aid according to the compulsory medical insurance program that will allow to spend more resources on less wealthy groups of people. The expediency of health indexes monitoring, competitive relations development, motivation in public health service is proved to be necessary.
