Abstract
Programmed cell death of lymphocytes in patients with chronic infections induced by tick-borne encephalitis, hepatites B and C was investigated. The injury character in realization of lymphocyte apoptosis is shown to depend on molecular features of the infectious agent. Apoptotic death of lymphocytes was elevated after their incubation in vitro with dexamethazone, etopozide and in the environment without serum. Receptor-dependent and mitochondrial paths of apoptotic signal conduction ways are preferably modulated in chronic virus persistence.

Abstract

Structural changes of eye retina in 40 male white rats under the influence of light with intensity of 200 lk during 1, 7, 14 and 30 days were studied using electron microscopy method and morphometric analysis. Structural changes of all cell elements of retina were revealed which were particularly expressed in neurosensory cells and in radial gliocytes. Maximum number of neurosensory cells with destruction of nucleus was observed after 7 days of exposure and achieves its maximum (4,6 ± 0,3)% compared to controls (0,40 ± 0,02)%. Changes of radial glial cells have both regressive and progressively -proliferative character. Changes of neurons of retina internal layers have mainly reversible character.

Abstract
Influence of intraperitoneal dalargin (dand m-opioid agonist), DADLE (d-opioid agonist), DAGO (m-opioid agonist) and U50488 (k-opioid agonist) on bile secretion which is stimulated by secretin was studied in sharp experiments on white rats. All opioids studied is demonstrated to suppress secretory response of liver upon secretin in different extent. We suppose that opioidergic regulation system has different effect on bile secretion in dependence of baseline level of physiologic secretion.

Abstract
The aim of this work was the investigation of immunologic peculiarities of acute viral hepatitis B (AHBV) in dependence on infection process outcomes. To assess immune status, we examined 55 patients with AHBV ( men and women) aged from 18 up to 50 years. Patients were observed from the moment of the admission to the hospital (1-st week jaundice) and up to the period of late reconvalescence (6—8 months after the discharge). The number of blood serum CD3+-, CD4+-, CD8+-, CD16+and CD22+-carrying lymphocytes and blood serum cytokines : IFNa, IFNg, IL-1β, IL-4, TNF-α were investigated. The results of the investigations showed, that immunologic findings in AHBV patients had different changes and depend on the disease outcomes (elimination or preservation of hepatitis B virus).

Abstract
Influence of original hepatoprotector lochein in comparison with influence of reference drug silimarin on metabolism of liver under acute intoxication caused in rats by the paracetamol or D -galactosamine was investigated in the given study. Lochein decreased more effective than silimarin manifestations of hepatotoxicity of paracetamol and D -galactosamine, contributed to recovery of basic functions of liver: it decreased blood activity of aminotranferases, alkaline and acid phosphatases, concentration of common bilirubin, activated its binding with glucuronic acid, brought protein and lipids to normal levels, prevented formation of products of lipid peroxidationproducts in the liver.

Abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate ideas of ulcer disease patients concerning causes of the disease and efficacy of its treatment methods. The vast majority of patients consider the cause of peptic ulcers to be severe heredity, irregular eating, use of alcohol. The patients consider diet, eating regimen and intake of anthacides to be the most effective treatment methods of the disease.

Abstract
Complex treatment of aged and old patients ( n = 60) suffering from deforming osteoarthrosis complicated with reactive synovitis in combination with associated pathology of cardiovascular system is studied. Natural antioxidant dicvertase introduced by ultrasonic waves was used. Positive combined action of ultraphonophoresis by dicvertase was revealed which resulted in lowering pain syndrome, increasing motions range in the affected joint, normalizing of immunity status which allows to broaden indications for the treatment of these patients by lowering the risk of development of pathologic response of the organism on the treatment and facilitates lowering drug loading on patients.

Abstract
Adaptation level of pregnant women having iron deficiency anemia and gestation hydremia was studied using the analysis of white blood formula. It is proved that in gestation anemia, disadaptation can be seen most frequently at the first half of pregnancy and in the period of 29-32 weeks of gestation. In iron deficiency anemia, the most high strain of adaptation systems is recorded in the period of 20 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. It points to different directions of adaptive reactions in iron deficiency anemia and gestation hydremia, which are united by the decrease of hemoglobin level in pregnant women needs differentiation of correction of abovementioned states.

Abstract
The analysis results of 5 213 delivery histories revealed that number of newborn boys was 10 percents more than number of newborn girls. During first pregnancy, conception of boys is more probable in autumn and during the 4-6 months after mother’s birthday. During repetitive pregnancies, conception of boys is more probable in spring and during 3months before mother’s birthday. Conception of boys prevails in young mothers especially in winter and 1-3 months before mother’s birthday. Conception of girls occurs in older women generally more often but conception of boys is more possible in spring and during first 3 months after mother’s birthday.

Abstract
Multiple sclerosis is chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system in the development of which chemokines of the type Tx1 play the leading role. Chemokines and their receptors participate in the development of multiple sclerosis as a result of drawing immune cells into central nervous system. Mutation of CCR5 delta32 decreases functional activity of the appropriate receptor on cellular surface and thus can reduce migration of leucocytes into foci of injury. Aimed at studying the role of mutation in multiple sclerosis, we compared frequency of gene type CCR5 in peripheral mononuclears of 102 multiple sclerosis patients and in 136 healthy subjects. The results obtained allow to conclude that polymorphism of chemokine receptor gene CCR5del32 is not a leading factor in the susceptibility to multiple sclerosis in the studied population.

Abstract
Aimed at o comparing coronary shunting long-term results with drug treatment of angina pectoris as well as estimating influence of dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus, hypoglycemic therapy nature, arterial hypertension and increased systemic inflammation on angina pectoris recurrence after the surgery, we examined 793 patients 5 years after coronary shunting and 81 patients who were treated by standard methods. Five years after the surgery, we noted decreased number of patients without angina pectoris symptoms and increased number of patients with angina pectoris. Increased levels of cholesterol, low density lipoproteins, α-lipoproteids, C-reactive proteins and diabetes mellitus of the 2-nd type II—III stage contribute to angina pectoris recurrence rate after the surgery. Operated on patients revealed angina pectoris recurrences, myocardial infarction frequency, repeated hospitalizations and annual mortality more seldom compared with patients who underwent drug treatment.

Abstract
We investigated concentrations of acute-phase proteins a-2-macroglobulin (MG) and lactoferrin (LF) in blood serum of 78 women with various types of uterine appendages inflammatory processes. Coefficient MG/LF was used as an additional diagnostic criterum of purulent-necrotic destruction of organs and tissues and allowed us to choose proper treatment options. MG values were assessed by method of rocket immune electroforesis using monospecific antiserum to the given protein, LF level was assessed by enzyme linked immunoassay based method (ELISA). Standard was performed when coefficient MG/LF was greater than 1, and if value of coefficient MG/LF was less than 1, we performed surgical treatment. Using coefficient MG/LF as a diagnostic criterion of existence of organic destruction in uterine appendages allowed us to optimize the selection of treatment program.

Abstract
Aimed at obliteration, percutaneous punctures under control of ultrasound examination with inserting of 2—4 mg of cyclophosphan in 10—20 ml of 0,9% of NACl solution with exposure of 15 minutes were performed in 18 patients having postnecrotic cysts of pancreas. Mean size of the cysts was 12,6 mm. Obliteration of the cysts occurred in 10—14 days. Together with cytostatic action, e obliteration effect of cyclophosphan was due to its influence on exudation and proliferation processes unlike spirit and iodine. The method is more effective in non-formed cysts.
