Abstract

Results of the study of the spontaneous apoptosis mechanisms of peripheral blood lymphocytes of ovary cancer (OC) patients are presented in the article. Dynamics of mitochondrial potential (MP) change, level of phosphatidylserine (PS) expression and DNA fragmentation were used as apoptosis markers. These parameters were estimated by flow cytometry. During the incubation process, DNA fragmentation in OC patient lymphocytes were more intensive and observed during earlier stages than those in donor lymphocytes. Also, reliable decrease of MP and increase of PS expression level were observed. The study results revealed increased reactivity of mitochondrial lymphocytes in OC patients and as a result, decreased resistance to spontaneous apoptosis processes.

Abstract

Experimental toxic hepatitis was induced by single administration of Acetaminophen ( paracetamol) in a dose of 1000 mg per 1 kg of body mass in Wistar rats. Inflammation pathology was modeled by wounding the upper maxilla gingiva in toxic hepatitis rats on the 6-th day. Intact rats were controls. On the 1-st and 7-th day, ratio of neutrophil-macrophag was determined in smears of the upper maxillas gingival, oxygen-dependent functional activity of neutrophils was assessed based upon HST-test, functional activity reserves were assessed by the stimulation index. On the 7-th and 13-th day, alaninaminotransferase and aspartataminotransferase activity, level of general and indirect bilirubin, general blood protein were assessed in blood serum of these rats. Toxic hepatitis was established to be accomplished by increased biocidity of phagocytes, decreased functional reserves of neutrophils and their migration into the parodontium. In experimental inflammation, suppurative processes in parodontium tissues are revealed in toxic hepatitis rats by 1.5 times less than in controls due to lower biocide activity of phagocyte cells and increased migration of macrophages.

Abstract

Patterns and mechanics of pulmonary ventilation are studied in sharp experiment on living rabbits (n = 15), after their sacrificing (n = 15) and on isolated lungs (n = 7). The data obtained revealed that mechanical properties of lungs and thorax - pulmonary integrity influence on forming patterns and parameters of lung mechanics during their ventilation independently regulatory influences of living organism. Classical Donders model of lung operation is incorrect for considering mechanical processes of lung ventilation because it take into account influence of mechanical lung properties and a thorax on forming patterns and parameters of ventilation mechanics.

Abstract

The analysis of acute toxicity and anti-inflammation activity of the willow extract is performed expediency of its inclusion in the preparations with anti-arthrosis activity. The dose dependent study of anti-inflammatory activity of willow extract was carried out of the model of acute inflammatory swelling which was provoked by introduction of 0.1 ml of 10% kaolin in the hind leg of the rat. Comparative anti-inflammatory activity of glucosamine sulphate and hydrogel in experimental osteoarthrosis was studied by modeling of inflammation. Most marked anti-inflammatory activity was shown to have the willow extract in the doses of 100 and 200 mg/kg. Inclusion of the willow extract in granules increased anti-proliferative activity of glucosamine in experimental osteoarthrosis. Combined use of the willow extract with glucosamine more effective than monotherapy by glucosamine, influenced suppressively on proliferative stage of inflammation in experimental osteoarthosis.

Abstract

Chronic opisthorchiasis is human parasitologic disease with signs of decreased reactivity of the organism. One of the ways to assess the organism reactivity is qualitative and quantitative analysis of glycogen in hepatic cells. Decreased glycogen level is a sign of decreased adaptation possibilities and manifests in disregulation of adaptation reactions. Experimental studies in vivo (model of chronic opisthorchiasis) revealed favorable influence of the background resonance radiation on the glycogen level in hepatic cell which indirectly points to increased reactivity of the organism which in turn may contribute to the maintenance of hepatic morphologic-functional status of full value and to prevent possible overstrain of its reserve possibilities.

Abstract

The aim of this work was to determine character of modifying radiation influence on damages of haematoretinal barrier components which is caused by light. The study showed that preliminary total x-ray radiation (5 Gy) increases lightning damages (3 500 lx, on the 1-st, 2-nd, 7-th, 14-th, 30-th days) of haematoretinal barrier which manifest by decreased specific square of chorioideas open capillaries, by haemodynamic disorders, reactive and destructive changes of pigmental epithelium. Damages of haematoretinal barrier is of focal character and are mostly l expressed on the areas of retina with massive destruction of neurosensory cells.

Abstract

Study results of investigation of peripheral erythron component in patients with juvenile uterine bleedings. We found marked changes of metabolic and morphologic status of erythrocytes: decreased mean mass of their dry weight and increased number of their transformed and degenerative forms. Cytochemical studies registered decreased content of sulfa radicals and lipoproteins in cytomembranes of erythrocytes. The most marked change of peripheral erythron component was seen in yuvenile uterine bleedings which are ongoing in the setting of high plasma estrogen level.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate correlation of immunity structural components (morphologic-functional changes in derma and systemic immune reactionof the organisms of Chernobyl accident liquidators. In 2000-2002, we examined 49 Chernobyl accident liquidators with admitted with coronary artery disease and hypertension. Controls were 61 men who had the same diseases and risk factors but were not under radiation. Immunologic data of 106 practically healthy men is were used normal indices. The derma biopsy was made in 24 Chernobyl accident liquidators; for morphologic control, the skin of 12 autopsy men who were not under radiation. The immunologic study data revealed reliable increase of СD8+ and circulating immune complexes, decreased СD16+, СD72+, IgM, saturation capability of neutrophils; proliferative inflammation of derma vessels and lymphocyte infiltration were seen. All these data show that immune -pathological processes take place in vascular changes mechanisms in these patients and allow to consider radiation as independent risk factor of systemic vascular changes.

Abstract

We have examined one of the main components of the mechanism of purulent-inflammation complications in surgical patients. It is normal microflora which reflects the condition of colonization resistance of the organism which is a leading mechanism of opposition to hospital infections. We have established changes of microflora of different biotopes of the organism in dependence on pathologic focus localization and of the period after the surgery. Complex approach to the investigation of colonization resistance allowed to discover not only dysbiotic changes but disturbances of some immunological mechanisms of total and local anti- infectious protection in surgical patients. It is desirable to combine selective decontamination with taking drugs which normalize indigenous micro-flora of the host (special diets, growth stimulators of normal microflora representatives, eubiotics) and immune-stimulating therapy.

Abstract

One of the true basic resistance factors is complement. Main functions of it consist in bacterial lysis, bacterial opsonisation for phagocytosis. Alteration of lytic function for opsonic function depends upon macrophages. Complement functions at bacteriosis depend on phathogenesis features in infectious disease.

Abstract

The purpose of research - to study cardiovascular diseases frequency in patients with bronchial asthma (BA), the influence of cardiovascular disease on clinical course and severity of BA, the role of base and symptomatic therapy, to evaluate quality of diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular disease in patients with BA. The date of patients register BA in Krasnoyarsk (2005) was analyzed - 5 104 patients. The frequency of occurrence of BA with cardiovascular pathology is high and amounts to 88,3%. Small number of patients with severity course of BA - 55%, middle severity stage - 44%, invalidity - 64%. It was revealed, that cardiovascular pathology appears against a background BA. The part of patients with cardial pathology before BA diagnostics had therapy, influenced on hyperactivity and this therapy assisted in forming and worsening of asthma. Base therapy of BA in most cases did not correspond to severity stage of asthma and recommendations of GINA. The absences of symptom control is bound up with unregular research functional lung ability and with insufficient attention to diagnostics and treatment accompanied pathology of cardiovascular organs. Not only adequate therapy but study of patients with the purpose of complex realization of recommendation, decrees of risk factors and treatment of accompanied pathology is necessary for improvement of asthma control, decrease of exacerbation number, unplanned visits of doctor and calls to emergency.

Abstract

Oxygen insufficiency in newborns is associated with disturbed vascular tone, which are regulated by kallikrein-kinin (KKS) and renin-angiotensin systems (RAS).Important index of hemodynamic disturbances is the activity of kallikrein, of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and also inhibitors of proteinases: α1-proteinase inhibitor and α2-macroglobulin. In hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy of mature newborns and children of the I, II premature degrees , blood KKS activity is increased in comparison with RAS. Decreased activity of α1-proteinase inhibitor is seen in 46% of premature infants of II degree which usually leads to chronic pathologic process. The increased activity of ACE is important for preventing hemodynamic disturbances.

Abstract
The 2-fold increase of pre-conscription youth and youth due to call-up morbidity is noted in Russian Federation during past decade. While
recruiting of troops, for about 60% of the youth due to call-up were attributed to the 1-st group of health. More than 40% of the youth can not bear
exercise which occurs during military labor. Index of unfitness to military service increased from 5.5 to 35% in the West Siberian regions. Armed
forces are recruited with significant share of subjects having signs of protein - energetic insufficiency. All this necessitates studying condition of
health and physical development of pre-conscription youth and youth due to call-up aimed at assessing causes of aggravated health and developing
preventive measures in this category of mens population of the country.
